High Demand originally started as a clothing brand, Created by Rodricous Gates. His Presence created a community and culture that is forever living on.

Not Just a Brand - A Blueprint 

High Demand Training stands on the shoulders of a young man who led with discipline, dreamed with purpose, and lived with passion. 

Rodricous Gates Jr. 

A native of Jonesboro, Georgia, Rodricous made his mark as a standout left-handed quarterback at Mundy’s Mill High School, known for his poise, leadership, and unique skill set on the field. Being left-handed made him rare and unpredictable, giving him a distinctive throwing angle and style that set him apart from most players. This uniqueness, combined with his unmatched work ethic, earned him a place at Albany State University, where he continued as quarterback while pursuing a degree in Business Management. 

While specific statistics from his college career aren’t publicly recorded, Rodricous’s true value was clear: a dedicated athlete who earned trust, led teammates, and balanced football, academics, and entrepreneurship with excellence. His impact went beyond numbers he was a leader, a motivator, and a visionary. 

The Origin: High Demand Apparel 

While balancing football, school, and entrepreneurship, Rodricous launched a bold, faith-rooted clothing line: High Demand Apparel. It was more than fashion it was a movement, a message, and a mentality, grounded in his personal motto: 

“Discipline will demand a high return.” 

He didn’t just wear it, he lived it.
He didn’t just build it, he inspired others through it.
His presence created a community and culture that still lives on today. 

Tragedy Turned Into Purpose 

In 2017, Rodricous's life was tragically cut short due to gun violence. But from that heartbreak, a movement was born. 

His family has remained steadfast and a powerful light keeping his name alive with grace, strength, and unwavering love.

Rodney Smith, founder of High Demand Training, carries forward Rodricous’s vision by building young athletes physically, mentally, and spiritually, inspired by his heart and legacy.
